Arrangement: Chronological per block or township, section and range

Abstract books record all legal documents pertaining to property and real estate title. Tables list name of grantor and grantee, date, type of instrument and description of property. In the first 15 volumes, a plat may accompany an abstract to an addition.

SPECIAL NOTES: Many of these volumes are in poor condition, having torn and loose covers and pages. Pages within volumes, particularly the early volumes on townships, do not appear to follow any discernible order. In the later volumes, duplication of information may occur. Some volumes were created to replace others. See microfilm.
