Scope and Contents
The State Rehabilitation Council advises the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation in delivery of effective rehabilitation services which lead to employment for people with disabilities. They also advance the use of resources necessary to promote the independence of Wyoming’s citizens with disabilities. The Council is advisory in nature and not a policy making authority. The 1992 Amendments to the Rehabilitation Act specified that every Vocational Rehabilitation program have such a council, and members are appointed by the Governor.
Minutes reflect names of attendees, announcements, program reports, and subsequent actions taken and/or discussed at the meetings.
