Claim files for residents of the Rawhide Village / Horizon Subdivision in Gillette, Wyoming. The subdivision was located above near-surface and subsurface concentrations of potentially explosive methane gas. Also included is a copy of an appeal by Governor Sullivan to President Ronald Reagan, through the Federal Emergency Management Agency, to reconsider the Agency’s initial declination of federal aid.
