02.05.03 Separated Civil Filings and Exhibits, 1932-2009

Scope and Contents

Sealed depositions, exhibits, and other case papers separated from civil case files prior to microfilming. Identifying targets were used in place of the items on the film. There may be multiple items for a case. Also included are case papers that were damaged by water and stuck together. These could not be separated for filming. The series also includes entire original file no. 9813, 12008 (2 folders), and 12773. These files were at the court at the time civil case files were microfilmed. Sealed records are restricted. Filings for the following case numbers were received after filming and are filed in this series: 8732, 9265, 9348, 10561, 10574, 10918, 11736, 12492, 12570, 12781, 12943, 13190

The collection is open for research though some record types may be restricted. Access to the following records is restricted and requires authorization from Park County District Court to review and copy:

  1. Civil Case Files-Confidential
  2. Criminal Case Files--Confidential
  3. Juvenile Court Records and Journals
  4. Involuntary Hospitalization Records

Arrangement

Numerical. Items that were not numbered were either placed at the beginning of the series, or kept adjacent to numbered items with which they were boxed by the vendor.
