Series VII. Indian and Military Affairs, 1889 - 1890
Scope and Contents
This series consists primarily of incoming correspondence from officials of the Indian Service, the Department of the Interior, the War Department, and other federal and local officials and private citizens. Also included are legislative resolutions concerning the disposition of abandoned military reservation lands. Other topics include relief for Indians, complaints against Indians, rumored troubles, a bridge across Wind River, Shoshone Reservation populations, and general reservation matters and conditions.
