Incoming and outgoing correspondence (outgoing primarily in letterpress books) covering official and personal matters involving Governor Campbell.

Subjects include organization of Wyoming Territory, legislative activities (appointments, control of penitentiary, arms for citizens, support of Campbell, etc.), Indian Affairs (policy, negotiations, changes in treaty lands and privileges, incidents between whites and Indians, routine administration), personnel, financial matters, post traderships, women's suffrage, contributions, and routine administration. Many letters from family and friends are also included. 2 cubic feet; Chronological, 7 file folders and 5 letterpress books.
