Scope and Content

From the Collection:

The bulk of the collection consists of correspondence related to Emerson’s work as an engineer and to his candidacy for governor. Some personal matters are also referenced. Miscellaneous papers at the end of the collection include information on irrigation projects, records related to the Republican party and elections, event programs, election results, congratulatory telegrams, a 1910 wedding announcement for the Emersons, and other items. A folder listing is included at the beginning of the collection.
