Scope and Contents
Daily record of activities in early Federal Court. Entries pertain to approval of bills, appointment of officials, payment of jurors, opening and closing of court sessions and criminal case hearings. Citations about criminal cases specify case number, name of defendant, and charge. Remarks about criminal proceedings are very brief. As to the filing of supplementary case papers, no information is made as to the contents. Many daily references to a criminal case may be found until the case is resolved.
