Scope and Contents

Files contain various records documenting an inmate's term at the penitentiary. Contents may include general correspondence, past criminal record, medical treatment, psychological evaluation, disciplinary actions, appeals to Supreme Court, education, parole hearings and violations, work record, counseling and statement of execution, commutation or parole. UFO inmates served concurrent sentences at detention facilities outside Wyoming.

Arrangement

Numerical by inmate number; alphabetical by inmate surname for a portion of 11,000 series, and all case files thru 14,000; numerical thereafter.
