Scope and Contents
Box 1 of 1 contains miscellaneous correspondence, news articles, and printed materials dealing with establishment of a community college in Laramie County and some events thereafter. The majority of the documents are dated in the mid to late 1960s. Of special note, an article on "How This College Was Born," dated 2/6-7/1970, appears in a newspaper insert entitled Open House. Also included are various pieces of printed publicity aimed at voters in support of establishment of the community college.
Boxes 1 thru 14 contain scrapbooks of news articles on Laramie Community College.

The collection is open for research though some record types may be restricted. Access to any student transcripts, test scores, etc is restricted to the college and student of record. Access to master or security microfilm rolls is restricted to college of record.
