Scope and Contents
Various administrative and court records documenting the conviction, appeals and execution of Mark Hopkinson. Most of the series consists of transcripts of testimonies and copies of district, state, and federal court records. Also included are correspondence of the Attorney General's office regarding death penalty statutes and Mark Hopkinson's imprisonment, investigatory records, and copies of Mark Hopkinson's correspondence he wrote and received while in the Penitentiary.
