Scope and Contents

A comprehensive study and plan of development to establish a pattern of land use, to provide a healthy economic climate, to locate public facilities as to meet the needs of all age groups, to establish in the planning area a sense of community feeling and well being. The Torrington Planning Commission has the responsibility of formulating a general plan of development, incorporating a set of long-range goals.
