Scope and Contents
Correspondence about administrative issues dealing with the general public, private organizations, local, county, state and federal officials. Also included are records on the Advisory Council, commission minutes, Native American issues, programs, personnel, and welfare reform.
*In 1990, the Centennial Legislature, continuing with the reorganization of state government, created the Department of Health and the Department of Family Services. The Health and Social Services Division was transferred to the new Department of Health and the Division of Public Assistance was transferred to the Department of Family Services. A continuation of the above starred file may be found in the Director's Files, Department of Family Services, RG 0049, Section 00.01.
