01 Minutes, June 1973-October 1974

 Series — Volume: 1

Scope and Contents

Created by Chapter 184 (Sections 9 160.40 thru 9 160.47) of the 1973 Session Laws, the commission was comprised of seven members appointed by the governor and had a fourteen member advisory committee. The commission was charged with studying land use controls, national legislation, public education efforts and was to make recommendations on consolidation of controls, conduct public hearings and studies, and make recommendations to the governor and the legislature by July of 1974 for future legislation. These minutes reflect the activities of this commission towards those goals, and their recommendation for the establishment of a permanent Land Use Commission and advisory board.
