00.08 Agency Applications for Sanctioning, 1989-1990
Scope and Contents
Applications from twenty-five state agencies and various sub-agencies describing an event or project developed for the festival which highlighted the organization's focus. For example, the Wyoming Stock Grower's Association, applying under the umbrella of the Wyoming Department of Agriculture, detailed a project in its application which honored families and/or ranchers who had been in the agricultural industry in Wyoming 100 years or longer.
The Wyoming Centennial Commission 'sanctioned' an activity because it appropriately reflected the Centennial spirit.
