01.02.06 Apprentice Standards, 1946-1956

 File — Box: 1

Scope and Contents

Standards developed by the local unions and approved by the state and federal committee on Apprenticeship. These guides were used in conjunction with the planning of job training programs for veterans but they also apply to job training programs for apprentices in those trades. The standards specify the term of employment, hours, wages and work policies.

Included are files for a newspaper apprentice program in southwestern Wyoming (undated) outlining the yearly objectives and wage scale and statistics on apprentices in Wyoming (1948).
