Scope and Contents

Monthly minutes of Oil and Gas Conservation Commission which regulates, for conservation purposes, the drilling, producing and plugging of oil and gas wells, injection and disposal wells, and seismic operations. Minutes also include coverage of hearings on requests for approval of well spacing, enhanced recovery projects and other matters. Members are appointed by the Governor and approved by the Senate.

Correspondence relates to issues covered at meetings and hearings and is interspersed amongst the minutes.
