Including incoming and outgoing correspondence regarding Wyoming National Guard activities and from individuals offering their services to the Wyoming contingent of U.S. forces should war break out with Mexico. Also contains correspondence concerning efforts in the United States to influence warring European nations toward an armistice (Governor Carey's views on an armistice are included in his responses).
