Series V. Petitions for Pardons
Scope and Contents
Correspondence concerning petitions for pardons, commutations, paroles, and restorations of citizenship by and in behalf of convicts in and released from the Wyoming State Penitentiary. Records include letters from and to family members, friends, and other interested parties; formal petitions; and public notices. A decision is included in many of the files, as well as a list of pardons from 1913-1915. Also see the secretary of state's records.
