The records document Floyd Hart’s career as an educator, secondary school administrator, and athletics coach, plus some aspects of his personal life. Well documented topics include the accomplishments of athletic teams, teaching and school administration issues and philosophies, the controversy which cost Riverton High School the Bellamy Award, a legal case involving Hart’s contract with School District No. 25, American Legion Junior Baseball, and Hart’s candidacy for the State House of Representatives. A scrapbook and commemorative publication related to Hart’s military experiences are included, as are samples of his articles on political topics
