Scope and Contents

Sharon Lass Field, a Cheyenne resident, is a professional genealogist, an active member of the Cheyenne Genealogical and Historical Society and the Wyoming State Historical Society, and author of several on Wyoming books.

This collection contains her research on Alexander Sutherland (1849-1929), engineer of Ames Monument, and James Thompson (1849-1921), a Civil War medal of honor recipient buried in Cheyenne.
