Scope and Contents
Arrangement: Chronological and numerical by license number.
Register of licenses for the operation of certain business, such as saloons, pool halls, and liquor retailers. Tables provide date, license number, name, place of business, license fee, nature of business, and expiration date. AS 1256, Box 1 contains samples of druggist’s licenses to sell liquor (1897), and liquor licenses (1896-1897).
