Scope and Contents

Arrangement: Album arranged in order given in biennial report. For 1935 – 1936 records, indexes divided by River Basins. For 1959 – alphabetical by stream.

Album of black and white photos of various gaging stations throughout Wyoming.

1935-1936 records consist of maps showing gaging station locations for entire state and indexes of Measurement Stations for the following river systems: Bear River, Cheyenne River, Green River, Platte River, Snake River, and Yellowstone River. Information includes stream, station location, water supply papers, and period of record.

1959 records consist of USGS descriptions on location of gaging stations. Additional information includes history of use, description of channel and site, water flow and discharge maximum and minimum, flood stage and accuracy.
