Scope and Contents
Snow surveys and irrigation water forecasts for major river basins and several western states (see listing). River basin surveys include information on snow depth, water content, precipitation, reservoir storage, and main drainages of the watersheds. State surveys list stream flow forecasts and snow measurements for major drainage basins and rivers. Long term summaries for some basins are also included. The correspondence file contains survey schedules. The publications file includes an instructional booklet on snow surveying.
