Ralston Matron Dies in Powell

Powell, Wyo. -- Funeral services for Mrs. Hannah E. Pearson, 78, Ralston, Wyo., widow of Clarence A. Pearson, will be held at 10 am Monday in the Methodist Church at Powell.

The Rev. George Turner and the Rev. R. N. Buswell will officiate. The body will be taken to Fullerton, Neb., for burial. Mrs. Pearson died in a Powell hospital Friday of cancer.

She was born Feb 9, 1881, in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pillsbury. Her marriage to Mr. Pearson took place in Lincoln, Neb., in 1903. He died at Cody Feb. 24, 1959.

The Pearsons ranched near Clark beginning in 1911. She was a member of the Powell Methodist Church, the DAR, the AAUW, the Ralston Women's Club and the EPASC.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Briggs of Ralston, one son, Edward P. of Cleveland, Ohio; two brothers, Walter Pillsbury of Ann Arbor, Mich., and M. Paul Pillsbury of Chico, Calif., two sisters, Miss Sue Pillsbury and Mrs. Earl Benny, both of Lincoln, and four grandchildren.

The Ballard Funeral Home of Cody is in charge of arrangements.
